We are conducting a multicentre, retrospective service evaluation assessing sedation-disposal practices over a two-week period. The primary aim is to quantify the amount of wasted IV sedation agents (midazolam, fentanyl, and buscopan) during endoscopic procedures, with a view to identifying opportunities to reduce waste and improve sustainability. This has been presented as an e-Poster at BSG 2026!

A large multicentre evaluation of real-world practice in endoscopic dilation of benign oesophageal strictures. This project has been presented at the MESSE conference in Berlin in October 2025 and ESGE days May 2026. It involves 11+ centres across the UK.
